ASSISTED/SENIOR LIVING

Independent Living

This level of care is meant for seniors who don’t require much daily or medical assistance. It’s also a more spacious facility with a central area for meals and programs to encourage residents to move around and to feel more like the home they used to live in. While a family is certainly encouraged to visit residents, the resident does have the right to refuse them.

Assisted Living

At this level, our caregivers can assist residents with daily activities. A registered nurse is always on call. The facilities are closer together so that the resident’s needs can typically be met in the same building. Family members usually take a more active role in care at this level too, particularly if the resident has been diagnosed with a dementia-related illness. We will also make sure to keep the family fully informed of any changes in physical and mental health, as well as any changes in treatment plans.

Memory Assisted Living

This program is very specially designed to promote familiarity within residents with memory-related illnesses. We use enhanced lighting, color coding, visual cues, memory boxes, and walking paths to promote safety and security.
